Joe Thompson is a University of California, Santa Cruz student, and activist. They are currently studying Environmental Studies with a concentration in policy and a minor in politics. Mostly they are known for their work in unionizing the first Starbucks in California. They are the youngest board member at 19 years old. They are also a member of the Santa Cruz County Democratic Party, Sierra Club, and many more local democratic clubs. Outside of their activism, Joe is a coffee connoisseur, enjoys stargazing, and loves comedy clubs.
